A Mint alternative that actually works in Spain
For years Mint was the reference free personal finance app in the United States. Intuit shut it down in March 2024 and moved its users to Credit Karma. It never served Spain. If you knew it and are looking for something similar here, this is what Fider offers.

What Mint did well
It aggregated accounts, categorized, and showed spending by category without charging. It was simple and free, which is why it had so many users.
What Fider does differently
Fider does not connect to the bank. You import a statement, a CSV or your email receipts, and in exchange you never depend on an aggregator staying alive. It also prices investments live and carries the freelance side.
Built for here
Euros, Spanish categories, three wallets for personal, freelance and company, and modelo 303 and 130 drafts to review with your advisor.
When to look elsewhere
If what you want is exactly Mint's automatic bank connection, Fider is not that. There are apps in Spain that aggregate banks. Fider bets on importing and reviewing.
When to choose Fider
Fider makes sense when you have more than one financial life in the same app: personal, freelance and, if you have one, a company. Every transaction carries its wallet and you can look at one, two or all three together.
- You are self-employed in Spain and want the modelo 303 and 130 drafts without copying figures into another tool.
- You work from a computer and want a real web app, with dark mode.
- You want the full history, not a window of a few months.
- You prefer not to connect your bank: import a PDF or CSV statement and review it.
- You share the numbers with your accountant and want them to see exactly what you see.
